These are the best songs of 2025, with great tracks from Clipse, FKA twigs, Geese, Sabrina Carpenter, Turnstile, Bon Iver, and many others.

I have a controversial opinion about why some of these US publications are snubbing the album on their year-end lists, but I don't think I'm brave enough to say it.

People are always praising Abra / dissing Mayhem by comparison, but I maintain that Mayhem is the truest to what a Lady Gaga album "should" be. I know what's at the heart of Stefani Germanotta as a musician and it's rock, jazz and disco. The 'OG Gaga' that people wanted and the actual 'OG Gaga' are not the same

The alleged new Britney Spears is not even on this list.

And what's even Gnarly? Never heard of her.

Abracadabra the only real and iconic choreography of the year.

The album is fantastic. lets not lie. the critics always **** up the perception.

Lady gaga albums need bangers and few ballads.

I don't think it's that, and I wish liddos would stop trying to push the whole "Latino voter" thing as if there solidarity in music voting bodies and music publications. They're two separate things.

I think it has more to do with cashed chèques and certain artist camps but that's me being messy

Don't Call Tonight and Blade of Grass are the only true chops of Mayhem and TDD is decent. The other 14 songs are phenomenal career highlights that easily make Mayhem a true contender for her best album.

Critics have always been lukewarm about Gaga, neither overly critical or overly praiseworthy, and their short-sightedness about Mayhem is not going to change my perception of the album. Mayhem will forever remain a universally acclaimed 7x-Grammy nominated album.

Critics will just never fully give Gaga her flowers. A lot of them straight up don't respect her because they are misogynistic rockists who hate her for being camp or literal stans of other artists. Poptimism stops most of them from panning her like they want but they'll come up with any reason to withhold the accolades artists like Beyonce and Taylor have gotten.

Whewwww! Great boost today. MAYHEM 7.2M, every track grew a lot, some got over 50% more than yesterday! Garden, How Bad and Vanish back to 250K daily, Disease 350k! DWAS getting the smallest % increase.

These publications especially the US ones are meaningless, so I don't really care.
