There's a chance the 'Telephone sequel' could be released as part of Act 3.

We have the potential for another Music video from 'TDWP 2' in the next few weeks.

We've got 'Mayhem Requiem', a full concert to look forward to.

'Mayhem Requiem' might also have a Music Video attached.

Gaga has implied she and Doechii have done something recently.

And Gaga might launch 'LG8' this year by following the 'Mayhem' schedule, October 1st single, February 2nd single', Album March.

I'm not saying all these things will happen but there's a lot of potential things in the next few months and nothing to suggest she's going into hibernation.

It will also make the BB200 year-end chart in two different years (2025 and 2026), so more than ARTPOP, CTC, Joanne and Chromatica. Not too shabby

So blackout era starts now. Let's see how long it lasts before we start complaining that she's lazy and does nothing. I'm gonna pace myself. I'm preparing for another 5 year break especially if she starts a family, but I'll probably break around year 2.

For the era she gave us with Mayhem she deserves a break. We don't want her getting burned out again. At least we know she's working on her next album, after Chromatica we didn't know that for another 3 years.

As we're approaching the end of the Mayhem era, I'm gonna copy-paste an essay I made regarding Mayhem's marketing shortcomings and what I think LG8 should improve upon, that I posted on another forum. This is nitpicking of course, this era was already phenomenal. But I think it's interesting to discuss. I also think LG8 won't come out in 5 years like some of y'all are saying, but she definitely does not need to do an era like Mayhem filled with interviews and performances. Maybe a short tour at most too. And I argue that this naturally aligns with how LG8 should be promoted.

There is still room for improvement in the next era, especially as far as the album marketing goes. Mayhem did quite a lot better than Chromatica as an album because of its promotional run and very positive word of mouth, but I think some shortcomings led to the album being more dependent on its singles than I think is ideal, especially for someone who is reaching a stage of her career where she shouldn't rely on radios.

1) Mayhem could've been edited further - I understand the inclusion of DWAS, but some of the tracks on the second half could've been cut, and it would help the album get a really white-hot critical reception that would lead even Gaga skeptics to check it out. 

2) The marketing pre-release was weak outside of Abracadabra's launch. I think DWAS inclusion also made it confusing to the GP. My main gripe with her not releasing a music video near/during the album release (or at least later during Coachella or Copacabana) was not that I think the song would've necessarily become a huge hit like Abracadabra, but that by not doing so, she muted the release of her album. I think a lot of people will check out a Gaga single and music video, and it would've significantly increased the album's reach among casuals. 

3) Sacrificing another single for TDD with a mid music video after Abracadabra was also a bad decision, at least when it comes to the album's long-term success (it could be argued that for Gaga's career in general, it was a good one). I fully believe like 80% of Mayhem standard songs would've done better, even with a mid music video like TDD. I mean, it's probably a matter of time before GOE, HBDUWM, and Vanish will outstream it daily. 

That being said, this is a bit of overanalyzing, as the era was phenomenal, in particular when it comes to live performances. I just personally want her to really focus on the album release next time, given that its quality level at least matches Mayhem. It might sacrifice some units or streaming numbers or WoC, but I think ultimately she should head in that direction even if it means sacrificing short-term success for longevity. Gaga is 40; she can't be too reliant on radio hits, and her albums are strong enough that she doesn't need to. This is why I would favour a very strong full album release for LG8, as a sort of yin to Mayhem's yang. She's fully earned the support of her fanbase without needing to perform everything everywhere all at once; the focus should fully be on quality control and marketing for the album as a body of work. It might be a risk, but it's one worth taking. A feature with The Weeknd for guaranteed streaming success could work as a sort of safety net as well.
