Tbh she might've used up all her solo stadium tour demand with back to back touring for two projects (at least at the scale of RWT & CCT), so a co-headlining tour with Jay-Z might be a smart move financially.

Of course Beyoncé can always tour and have demand, but to keep doing the large scale tours she's used to she has to find new ways to drive larger demand.

I am sure that touring will be a part of all her calculations so I am curious to see how she plays this out. I don't think a co-headline will work however. I think at this stage it will bring more issues. I think there are many other factors too, including the economy, war, etc., that will impact demand and logistics (for example, all Asia tours by artists like Shakira, etc. are indefinitely postponed, not just due to uncertainty but even simple things like shipping logistics). I know she only tours US and Europe, but the impact is going to be global. So I am sure she is waiting to see how things play out. Either way, I don't see her touring before 2027. She could push it even further and instead do a festival headline or some performance slots to give the era some 'live' life. I see festivals being the more likely route.

I shouldn't say this but now I'm getting the feeling that act-iii is not coming this summer. I hope I am wrong and I just woke up on the wrong side of the bed.

And remember, she has another ace up her sleeve - the VISUALS.

She was already trying to be an album artist before 4 tho. I Am… Sasha Fierce is a concept album and the B'Day anthology treats the project as a whole thing.

If anything, 4 being the work of an "album artist" is more of a marketing thing after Mathew's departure since some songs are from the Fela Kuti-inspired sessions (Run the World, End of Time), others from Stevie-inspired, classic soul sessions (Love On Top, 1+1, Rather Die Young) and others are demos from contemporary artists (I Miss You).

I used to think her projects came in threes (DIL-BDay-IASF, 4-Beyoncé-Lemonade, the trilogy), but as of now 4 feels closer to her first three albums than to anything that came after. I don't think she could elevate Beyoncé and Lemonade from what they are, but I definitely think that she would make 4 (or any of the albums before it) way better than what it is with her current level of production.
