Madonna for all. 

Confessions sounds more fresh even if it's 20 years older, it's just a better album in every aspect

 

But Mayhem is great too and this has been an amazing year for Gaga. I love Abrasmashabra

Confessions has the vision, the cohesion and the world building that accompany the quality songwriting. Mayhem lacks in all those areas.

COADF has better lyrics. Mayhem is better overall for its musical diversity. Both incredible late-career masterpieces tho, not everybody has that.

 

@Madonna just sue at this point.

I absolutely LOVE Mayhem, but Confessions is Madonna being the greatest.

Voted for Mayhem on the Lyrics tho, just to give it some love. It deserves too.

Even Gaga would vote Madonna, I fear

I know it's unpopular so I've been very quiet around this anniversary but… CoaDF is still not top tier Madonna for me 🫣 I will give it another listen soon, but I'm sorry it's no Ray of Light, Erotica, or Bedtime Stories to me… just my personal taste! I know how much Confessions means to a lot of y'all so I'm very glad you get the enjoyment out of it that you do! it's beautiful! but it's just not to my tastes in the same way unfortunately. Mayhem takes it for me. if you'd put Mayhem against any of the other three Madonna albums I mentioned, now that'd be far tougher for me 

Confessions is like the blueprint of pure pop of the 21st century. 

The album that birthed this masterpiece.

it's not even close omfg not even gaga's best album (the fame monster) comes anywhere near confessions 

Mayhem has better lyrics and production, COADF desperately needs a remaster. Some songs sound like there's white noise playing in the back.

I will give overall to COADF. Mayhem has higher highs, but I skip more songs off Mayhem.

Not the liddos trying to make Mayhem equally as good as COADF when they know for sure there is no way any of Gaga's disc can touch that album.
