Very few people have had their personal life be a huge part of their celebrity and almost even rival their artist career in terms of notoriety (only Britney, Marilyn, Michael (and Princess Diana, thought she's in a different category) come to mind on that level). Madonna probably not as much, though I wouldn't put it past her, off of her name alone. She does have an interest life story but it's not as known as the others and the media never really obsessed over it that much, so the initial interest wouldn't be that extreme l don't think.

The pick and choosing on what Janet albums to count is sending me. OT: Britney.

Is this normal/common? An album coming up with a release date announced and all but they're still unsure if she's gonna tour? I would imagine major artists decide such things as the album is wrapping up, the latest. Specially a tour of the magnitude of a Madonna tour.

Just dropping by to say that this is still one of the best female rap albums ever made. This was gonna be Remy's breakout album but Universal fumbled everything. They really didn't believe in her and the sad part is she had the natural buzz and momentum.

Hard Candy. But it's okay because she has like 12 amazing classic/cult classic albums under her belt. And also, very random, but Your Honesty has been hitting lately.

Heidi always exuded aunty energy through and through. Addison is basically the opposite. Pop culture is a lot about (perceived) youth.

Get Mine, Get Yours is literally the classic that got away.

It's Madonna all things considered. Excellent performer. Excellent understanding of reinvention. Amazing clear view of what what to do next when she had no other popstar to base her career trajectory off of. Excellent entertainer. Great songwriter and lastly, okay singer, which funnily enough is her weakest link.
