The way they are both completely overrated albums. 

TFM is not even an album, even at its EP length half of it is filler.

Yeah let's not compare 2009 album with albums from 80s when albums were short because they were recorded for vinyl and had no room for more tracks. And it's not the same length, Madonna first 3 albums go from 39m to 42m. Regular album length for any era.

And at the end of the day TFM is defined as EP by Gaga herself.

And Gaga HERSELF has said multiple times that she considers TFM an album, NOT an EP  Contractually, it's also her second album, and it was certified by the RIAA separately from The Fame, and the Grammys nominated both for AOTY. 

 

Bruno's 24k Magic album only has 9 tracks and is also 34m long. I guess that's not an album then by your standards?   

Frozen or Nothing Really Matters alone wash virtually everything Gaga has ever released and I'm saying this as someone who likes Gaga's music. Madonna in the same tier as the most influential artists in the history of popular music like The Beatles, MJ, Bob Dylan and David Bowie. Her best work should never be compared to Gaga because it's an insult to ROL.
