I genuinely do not think she was being shady here, if anything she was praising her. Katy is not smart enough to throw shade, what you see is what you get lbr...

Stans of lesser talented artists can drag Mariah for not as the vocalist she once was, a diva and her "weight" but at least she have a  great legacy, strings of #1s to back this up and people will always going to member her name.

 

She's already up there as one of the greatest musicians of all time, petty fan wars won't gonna change that.
