Please stop. Taylor doesn't have an album as good as Music period. Definitely not this latest Suno Pro abomination she dropped recently. 

I'm a Taylor stan DOWNeeee and there is no question in my mind - Music takes it all! A mature, nuanced, finely tuned experimental-pop record. A wonderful companion album to the generation defining Ray of Light. Taylor can (!) get there one day. She hasn't yet tho. Albeit, she is currently almost 10 years younger than Madonna was when she released Music - so she has time to grow. We'll see!

Madonna's Erotica -> COADF run rains supreme, even if Taylor's run is also INSANE and the closest we've gotten by a modern MPG in terms of relevancy and monocultural vision! She just hasn't found the courage (?) yet to REALLY go there with her music. Maybe she will one day, maybe she won't. Can't wait to see what the future holds for her!

Take any track from Music and it absolutely obliterates. Love Taylor and TLOAS is great but pretty much no one can compete with Madonna's imperial era of Y2K releases.

Music couldn't even sell half of what Hybrid Theory, The Marshall Mathers LP, or Oops!… I Did It Again did back in the Y2K era. Not to mention, its recurrent streams are embarrassing — it's basically a forgotten album.

That year was packed with massive eras, Britney, Xtina, Destinys Child, Eminem, Linkin Park, etc, the charts were a real battle and Madonna being +40 years old and releasing her 8th album after 18 years from her debut had a huge era, also the album is amazing.

 

Taylor is without a doubt the biggest star today, but she is battleling against Korean AI on the charts, that's why she feels bigger than anyone else.

Plus Music sold 12 million copies WW, which is amazing for a 43 year old woman. The Drowned World Tour was the highest grossing female tour of the year, and Music (single) is bigger than all of Taylor's flop singles which have been plummeting off the charts since the 1989 era.
