This is so unethical in so many ways. Using AI for completely useless stuff like this should not be tolerated. It's terrible for the environment and not sustainable whatsoever, considering how much energy consumption is needed to develop, maintain and train these models. On top of that, this is just another tool to exploit sexual desires of (predominantly men) for financial gain.

 

Absolutely nothing about this is good. There is not a single benefit. Regulation is needed asap.

Morally this is the completely opposite of what they should be doing right now, especially with the growing number of people ruining their lives over AI romantic partners. It's like they saw all the press and thought how can we cash in on that even more?

What about non-verbal or cripplingly socially anxious people who can't form human relationships? Why stop them getting their rocks off. If they want to talk dirty with a chatbot, why can't they?

well maybe those people should seek help and therapy and learn how to adapt.  not everything needs to be a getaway tool. some times we have issues that we can and should fix.
