This snippet reminded me of something celestial from the end of How Big How Blue How Beautiful, but now that you mentioned Welcome to My Island I can see a connection too.

 

I'm wondering if she's not going to release this song this Wednesday, she's been releasing a lot of snippets, and so far we've only had two singles. And all the singles were released a week before the month ended.

not to sound negative because i do enjoy the album but the more i listen the more i realize, damn… it's really just Dance Fever 2.0 

 

i'm happy with it as DF is my second fav Florence project but i do hope she switches it up for the next one, there's a song here that's literally just The Bomb with different lyrics (my fav off DF, also my fav here!)

also sorry to disappoint but i'm pretty sure Danny didn't produce Sympathy Magic, it's solely Aaron Dessner

The single is coming only on Monday, the Album next friday. 31st october.

also where are the insiders with the tea on all the tracks...it's my favorite part of any album release cycle

Oh I was referring to the whole album but I agree that this song sounds like it could send me into a mental breakdown on its own very easily!

I really like Dance Fever as well but my problem with it is, that it feels like a playlist. Random tracks put together while every album before felt well thought through. 

The interview is incredible. I started to tear up with her at 14-15min in 😭😭

 

She is just so incredible. I'm constantly in awe of her artistry... We are so, so lucky to have her. Truly in a league of her own

She said Sympathy Magic and You Can Have It All  really pushed her vocally, hardest songs to sing it live

I cried so many times holy hell so many of the things they talked about resonate so hard even while having had none of her experiences....oh my god I'm not effing ready

Her interview with Zane has to be her most personal yet, you could feel her desperation to let those feelings and thoughts out after keeping them locked for so long

 

Now my hype for You Can Have It All is beyond the stars, can't wait for Halloween
