Florence + the Machine
Ok there's rumors circulating about a Florence x Hozier Collab for the Sunrise On The Reaping soundtrack....does anybody know anything about this?
-
Fontaines D.C. - 'Dopamine Chamber'
Losing my s**t at the Rosalía Collab I'm gonna be the most annoying person when this drops
-
Taylor Swift
Ok I'll admit I'm a bit ignorant on this but...is this level of promotion normal for a playlist of music videos that were already available anyway? Am I missing something?

Florence + The Machine - 'Everybody Scream'
I feel like this is the curse of Florence - to be making art so sensitive and intimate it requires too much energy for anyone to engage with it casually. One month After release its still the clear 2025 winner for me and I'm so sad it didn't get the flowers it deserved, but - true masterpieces always take time to be recognized as such

Florence + The Machine - 'Everybody Scream'
Sympathy Magic kinda one of her best songs ever along with OOTG tbh I'm scared if I had to do a ranking of her top 10 songs ever at least three would be from this album......

Florence + The Machine - 'Everybody Scream'
Now of I don't get the Old Religion on the setlist...

Florence + The Machine - 'Everybody Scream'
So are we ready for the Everybody Scream Is The Greatest Florence Record of all Time conversation yet

ROSALÍA - 'LUX'
Hello, never been a fan before but I listened to Lux out of curiosity and I'm obsessed. It's so good and so ethereal and so transcendental it's got me in a chokehold. Of all the tracks the one I'm absolutely obsessed with is Divinize and I'm here to ask if anyone knows similar songs I made a playlist called "something divine" that features that one, The Old Religion by Florence and the Machine and Cloudbusting by Kate Bush. Just because I greatly enjoy the idea of creating my own religion of profane pagan women that make me feel like there's something better and greater than this life
-
Florence + The Machine - 'Everybody Scream'
Strongly suggest listening to Divinize by Rosalìa and immediately following it up with The Old Religion. A true religious experience

Florence + The Machine - 'Everybody Scream'
My ranking as of today: 1. One of the Greats 2. The Old Religion 3. Sympathy Magic 4. Buckle 5. Perfume and Milk 6. You can have it all 7. Music by Men 8. Everybody Scream 9. Kraken 10. Witch dance 11. Drink Deep 12. And Love However, Buckle is trying so hard to force itself into a number 1 spot. It's SO infectious I can't get it out of my head

Florence + The Machine - 'Everybody Scream'
I really disagree, I don't think there's a single song on this album that could be called formulaic And I think there is plenty of chaos, just not in an immediate form like maybe Ceremonials or Lungs offered. It's more intimate and introspective, not as accessible, but definitely chaotic imo.

Florence + The Machine - 'Everybody Scream'
The pitchfork score consistently slamming my favorite albums and proving me right over and over
-
Florence + The Machine - 'Everybody Scream'
Music by Men is Florence doing The National and good GOD am I here for it as a gigantic fan of both Never would've expected it to break me the way it's continuously doing!

Florence + The Machine - 'Everybody Scream'
imagining You Can Have it All as a concert opener....a concept...
-
Florence + The Machine - 'Everybody Scream'
And what if I said Sympathy Magic, One of the Greats and The Old Religion are all battling for the spot of greatest Florence song of all time...
-
Florence + The Machine - 'Everybody Scream'
Cause I'm stupid and I'm damaged And you're a DISASTER And you come back in the room And none of it matters Oh BABY I JUST BUCKLEEE Obsessed with this oneee
-
Florence + The Machine - 'Everybody Scream'
It's been 36 hours I can safely say this is a no skips album 10/10 no notes
-
Florence + The Machine - 'Everybody Scream'
I still cannot believe The Old Religion is a song that she put out and I get to hear with my own ears. It feels so quintessential and somehow so new and moving... And in an album full of absolutely insane lyrics, the most insane for me is definitely "give me something I can crush, something I can kill". This song on its own already makes this an unforgettable, epic album

Florence + The Machine - 'Everybody Scream'
I love that everyone has a different favorite and least favorite the telltale sign of a really groundbreaking album
-
Florence + The Machine - 'Everybody Scream'
I had an intuition a few days ago that all her albums are sisters: Lungs - High as Hope Ceremonials - Dance Fever HBHBHB - Everybody Scream I feel validated in this theory, this album is HB's moodier sister and I'm overwhelmed with it The seasons change The world TURNS

Florence + The Machine - 'Everybody Scream'
Initial ranking before I go to sleep and obsess about this album for the foreseeable future - 1. The Old Religion 2. One of the Greats 3. Sympathy Magic 4. Perfume and Milk 5. You can Have it All 6. Buckle 7. Witch Dance 8. Music by Men 9. Everybody Scream 10. Drink Deep 11. Kraken 12. And Love But there is not a single skip, even the last few I adore... Holy hell this might be my favorite album of hers

Florence + The Machine - 'Everybody Scream'
the Old Religion is doing something to me, it starts and it brings me to tears. What the hell, I love this album desperately.

Florence + The Machine - 'Everybody Scream'
I just finished listening and HOLY F***. I swear to God at this point I have to believe all the whining is from people who only know Florence from Spectrum and Dog Days because there is NO way this album is boring, dumb or even remotely similar to High As Hope imo!! There is SO MUCH. Such incredible fkn lyrics and the layers upon layers of instrumentation and the melodies oh my god The thing is you can't experience Florence through a main pop girlie filter and that's the thing I think most people who are complaining about the album don't get - she'll occasionally give you a radio hit but that's not her calling. Hooks and catchy phrases are not what you should be coming to Florence for, imo. That being said! The Old Religion is THE single best song of her career. I was losing my mind. The magic of both Dessner twins shines on this one You can have it all is incredible, should've been longer - Perfume and Milk, Drink Deep, Buckle, And Love, even Music by Men.... All incredible. All absolutely incredible. I'm gonna be consuming this album for months.
