This and Ring would be Cardi's only singles as a lead artist to not make the Top 20, everything she has released as a lead artist has gone Top 10 or 20, that's a pretty good record.

Yeah this is the problem. The reason Cardi connected with people in the first place is because she was fun. She was never the greatest rapper but no one cared because the songs were bops. Now it's all "opps this opps that" and she's lost that spark that made her fresh and exciting.

Cancel the album release 

cardi been WASHED lol. she should just focus on dropping the album & touring. 

i was surprised the label allowed her to not release an album after she had back to back hits with wap and up, any other artist would not have that much say, especially an artist who had only released 1 album

 

I gave an alternative to rapping in her single thread an ******* got mad 

 

 

Trying to prove you're a real rapper while just dropping your last two singles from the album in favor of the chart winners from five years ago is wild

 

enough and like what were good and deserved a spot more than imaginary snoozerz

She's a popstar at heart. The few ig lives I've watched of hers she always randomly bursts into singing pop girl songs  She should stop trying to convince everyone that she's a rapper and just do her own take on pop.

We ALL saw this coming. All of her peers have dropped multiple projects since her last release and she really thought the world was going to wait 7 years for her like she's Rihanna or Sadé. These fickle fans of today move on... quickly.

 

Just look at her store, she still has signed copies of her album readily available a whole month after her album announcement. Thats a telling sign that interest in her has dwindled because a few years ago they would've been gone in hours. Also, Bardigang should be ashamed of themselves. I know damn well there's more than 3-5K of y'all. 

 

I still think she picked the wildest time to start procreating. Like this could've all been avoided had she slowed down on the baby fever and released this album 3-4 years ago.

She should walk back putting Wap/Up at the end of an obvious playlist album, first. The lashings when people say they're the best songs will be bad. She won't survive, but the Spaces "coke rants," as they're called now will be fun.

 

Then cut half the playlist down to a semi-controlled record. Axe Outside, add Miami, since that's honestly her best release (solo or feature) since Up. Then pray.

That part. I feel like her fans really want her to be this serious hip-hop  but I don't think she has that kind of style. She is a popstar and excels at things like Bongos regardless of it flopping

she should just focus on being an influencer and go back to being a tv personality...
