Stranger sounds VERY 80s, but not the euphoric Jealous Type way. It's the synth-y and melancholic kind of 80s music.

 

EDIT: I'm thinking of something that sounds similar but it just sounds like a mix of vibes from the 80s with the modern touch of the general 80s revival. So the closest thing I have in my mind right now would be this one, but simply to compare the general "vibe" and "influences".

any form of tv promo is good either way so id say yeah

I think I said this before but I'm getting the feeling that this album is about to be her Dawn FM... underrated but still consistent in quality.

Have you heard the full (demo?) version from earlier this year? I'm shocked it was never taken down from YouTube. I listened to it a few times to whet my whistle earlier this year, and I still can't get the melody out of my head! Curious if she made any changes to it, not that any are needed!

It's slightly longer than the full demo that's up on youtube, 3:19 vs 3:31 so maybe the intro or outro are longer?

 

I agree though, the song is perfect as is I'm assuming it'll sound a lot more polished on the album
