  • No. But if it does for you, I hope you can make the changes needed to perceive your life better.

    Yes because you need money

Work sucks so I mean if you have to spend most of your time there (which most people do) then yeah

Sometimes yes.  Sometimes no.

It's all pointless in the long run so might as well not take it too seriously though.  An eternity of no longer existing awaits us all.

Even those that are born in a very difficult circumstance, will be given a chance to get out of it eventually or will have a better way to deal with the situation. NOTHING is permanent, until we face death.

We humans usually complain more than being grateful for what we already have. Many out there wish they had half the things we have, but we take it for granted...

If you're not happy with something, see what YOU can do about it. If it doesn't depend on you, seek help. You are not alone in this planet babe.

Personally, it doesn't. Especially recently. I didn't like the situation I was in so I made the effort and fought to change it. Now I'm happier than I've been in the last eight months.

I see life as a Miracle and as a Curse :giraffe: and something very unpredictable.
I used to see life in a very linear way but now i feel like its the most random thing ever :gaycat2:

Interesting that dictators spend their life to conquer land and assets, killing so many people, destroying so many places. In the long run, as you say, all is pointless. But in their mind, it matters enough to cause all this damage and suffering.

Crazy isn't it?  Life is so short and these maniacs go out of their way to make it miserable for millions.  Mental wiring that I can't relate to or understand.

No, it doesn't. Situations can suck, some of what we experience can suck, but life itself is entirely benign. To view it so black and white as bad is to set yourself up for failure. It is better to just take things as they come and be ambivalent.

Yes especially when you are caught up in a vicious workplace bullying situation.

I don't think life necessarily sucks, but it is definitely tough. It's one of the hardest things anyone will ever go through just because of how unpredictable it is. You never really know what's coming next, and a lot of times you're forced to adjust to changes you didn't ask for.

People say life is what you make it, and that's true to some extent, but I think it really comes down to willpower. If you don't have the energy or mindset to keep pushing forward, life can start to feel really long and heavy. So it's not that life itself sucks, it's more that it challenges you constantly, and how you handle that makes all the difference.

Yes, because you literally have to work yourself to death just to afford to live which in turn means less time with family/friends.

I have been working on find a better job though that I can use my skills for, and make decent money. Even if it means leaving Canada.

It depends on multiple factors like: your life experiences, your mindset, your immediate circle, and luck (you can get hit by a bus tomorrow and your life would become shitty as hell). But generally, life can be really cool if you try hard enough.

Wow, even Canada is going through this horrible job-hunting situation?
Feels like the whole world is trapped in it.

I think it depends on what kind of job your looking for, but yes its bad.

Many students have been struggling to find even part-time work.

what type of jobs are desirable?

I think this depends on the individual. But personally I'll like a job I can work full-time and it be enough to survive on.

My background is in aviation (which I currently work in) and film/video production (which I studied).

The latter use to have an abundance of jobs and a shortage of workers.... until the SAG/WGA strikes. Now its highly competitive for the little work that does pop up.

But there's countless stories of youth unable to even get work at even fast food or retail places cause there's so much competition.
