This is revolutionary. Miss Elvira did THAT on the production.

 

This is her Ray of Light. This is perfect.

i used to feel this way but i'm glad they're separated. if i want to listen to a song on loop i don't want the extra

The trippiness, the stop at the start, her vocals, the BEATS that contrats with the trippy-synthy vibe of the song, and the breakdown at the end??? omg this might be my favourite track of the album omggg

I'm living for this trippy but beat-banging vibe in the album tracks ahhhh

5. Lost & Found

it's a short interlude but it sounds good

not really going to replay it bc its literally48s long but idk

omgggg high fashion hits harder now after the interlude (like the start of hf)

guys I think I just had an eargasm bc my shoulders went weak

7. Summer Forever

it's cute, prob the weakest (for me) of the 3 non-singles so far but it's still pretty damn good

gives me lana vibes but more upbeat/yassified

like it's not rly like the slow lana songs but like the faster ones except it's addison singing so it's not rly a lana song bc it kinda has her vibe instead (i mean like their voices are different so the vibe is different to a lana song)

it's a cute song

it's chill af

and the chorus sounds lowk angelical

8. In The Rain

the start gives me old school vibes idk, like the drum n bass in the 2000s pop songs but with a modern twist so it doesn't rly sound dated

"so i cry... only in the rain" this part>>>>>>>>>

summer forever is stronger than this I think

still a good song but I think the first half of the album (new york-high fashion) is just so good it overshadows these two

and seeing fame is a gun after this, i just know it's going to pale in comparison but it's still a good track, just the weakest so far ig

the instrumental towards the end is pretty

that instrument idk what it's called reminds me of the one used in some eurobeat songs so it makes me vibe xd

9. Fame is a Gun

i said i wouldn't talk abt singles but whatever

i replayed this sm when it came out like earlier this week was it?? idr

it was nothing ago

lowk glad fame is a gun is in the 2nd half bc the first half of the album is packed with bops and here it feels like it shines more?? tho i've yet to hear times like these so hopefully it isn't the only bangerrr in this side of the album

Everyone has a different taste so I understand if the people who put Headphones On first on the singles ranking don't like this but that's okay

In The Rain.... This is how you take inspiration from Timbaland/Nelly Furtado/Danja without reheating the nachos they froze in 2006.

real... I felt like that song mixed the 2000s vibe/mood with more modern lana-esque sound, that counts for other songs as well but in different ways

I overall liked the mix of beats and chill/trippy sounds ahh

 

I've yet to listen a 2nd time but I just know when I have free time (today I wanted to play some games and unless I mute the game to listen to the album meanwhile which idk... I'd rather pay full attention to this masterpiece rather than use it as background music) I'll replay my faves 600 times

 

edit: also the breakdown in that aqua song around 2:17 timestamp?? loved it
