Probably not. I could see it being playlisted on corporate retail/grocery but I think the GP has moved on from Ed Sheeran. The song sounds like it was made in 2017, back when he was most popular. It just sort of reminds you of how uninspired and generic his music has been for a really long time and the paint-by-numbers made4pop radio songs only work for so long

I can see this turning into a radio hit like all his other pop fodder. It will slowly build on iheartradio's evil conglomerate until all retail workers are on self help watch.

I don't care too much about Ed but let's be honest here: both Subtract and Autumn Variations were lowkey releases and marketed as such. In fact, the latter was made available by his own record label rather than Atlantic. Bieber's last two efforts were the usual pop affair and payola'd to death, hence why his recurrent streams are kind of bad, specially Changes.

I hate him but Eyes Closed was bigger than the last ten years of Katy Perry. Top 20 in every country is not a flop by any means.

 

I have my doubts about this one but I can see the potential with certain part of the population, it has the chances. I won't count him out just yet.

Changes has Intentions above 2 Billions streams and Yummy above 1,8 Billion streams 

 

HIS Flop era went really well.

 

You can try defend Ed the most you want, but nothing can mask or hide the following fact: Smile more than Double streams compared to substrack, while 1432 or 143 (you choose) outstreamed autumm variations
