cuz I was listening to EP daily. i want new music by my fave.

and as of this moment theres only 3 new songs and thats not standard.

I actually enjoyed the Jump, Better things etc songs but they were scrapped from this project. 

It makes zero sense that she wouldn't just tack them on at this point.

He's probably giving her discounts or maybe even free out of loyalty or something (maybe she was one of the first major acts to give him a run or they're close friends or both). 

 

Whatever the case, he's giving her his bargain bin material and it's crazy that she either can't tell or just doesn't care lol.

Positive post: I really like I Made It. It's a nice opener and probably one of the few tracks I will be replaying. 

 

I absolutely adore her tone and register on Drop Your Love. Sounds like old Ciara, low and airy. I also like Winning (despite the hate it gets). My 11 year old and I get our life to it in the car. 

 

As an album, this is miles better than Beauty Marks.
 

I have issues with the sequencing, but that just might be a lost art form at this point.  
 

 

I really tried to approach this with an open mind, but it just feels underwhelming.

 

For me, "Ecstasy" and "How We Roll" are the only good tracks. "BRB" had potential but doesn't really go anywhere, and none of the new songs land for me. Hopefully the deluxe edition gives us at least one more solid track, can't believe it took fans bullying her to make it happen.

 

It's a shame because the physical packaging looks incredible, such striking visuals feel wasted on an album this weak.

Slander towards beauty marks shouldn't be tolerated, how the hell can someone hate beauty marks, theres so much introspection and level of honesty in that record + its evened out, theres honest moment and then a bop, then vulnerable moment again and bop, and also variety of sounds. she was experimenting. cici for example sounds like one long same song.

 

lets promote this interview, its different from the others, theres few questions that challenged her finally but ofcourse her awesome rehearsed answer was "i dont care" lool

Nothing is outright bad, but I'm just not interested anymore. I want Ci to experiment more, she has the independency, the money and a resurgence of respect for her old stuff. So do something unexpected a little.
