Not at all. At least for me personally. The EP songs are a hit or miss. Half of the songs are not good to me. We can thank Theron Thomas for that. The other half are just ok. Like literally nothing special. I can't point out anything from those songs that are mind blowing in comparison to the new songs on the deluxe. The EP was cute because it was just that an EP. A project to get us excited for what was coming next.

It just feels like if she wanted to do a big compilation deluxe repackage thing she might as well have just made it 25 songs and include all/most of the music she has put out since BM. This rollout and strategy was awkward and strange

The new songs don't really do anything for me. We've heard all of this before… They sound like Jackie leftovers aside from Low.

 

Low is nothing special either but it's the only song that has some kind of potential. So drop the video and wrapped the era up Cici. I'm glad I no longer have to wait to hear this "amazing" music cause somehow I fall for it everytime

I do agree that the deluxe isn't her best work but it does serve as a saving grace for where we are at in this moment when it comes to Ciara music. It shows that with the right producers she has a chance to really create a body of work that feels evolving, fresh and enjoyable….not just her 80 stans on twitter who will accept anything from her because they are stuck in this stan cult mentality. 

I  really want her to change things up dramatically next era. Really want her to work with new producers & experiment! 

Whoever produced the vocals on Infinite Imagination needs to stick around for future projects. The verses are some of her best vocals ever. She slid on that.

Agreed!  She's not gonna do that though sadly due to her loyalty to Theron Thomas. 

LOML is so good. It reminds me so much of Fantasia's song "Enough" which is one of my faves of hers.

I realize I might be in the minority however Dance With Me has really grown on me.

Including a 2 year old EP in the album was the smartest thing she ever did, it brought so much streams to the album I think it might go #1 on billboard!!! These are the total streams so far for each individual song on the album on Spotify. Most songs were released 1-2+ years before the album was released; so these numbers are also including those streams.  

 

An example of how many streams one song got since tracking week began:

We can thank Tyga for that and thankfully the song doesn't suck. Like I said she's a visual artist with a proper visual she's always gonna see more engagement. Imagine what would have happened with a proper roll out (gasp) releasing better singles like Low to build up the project months before (gasp),  Live televised performances of said singles instead of a random montage where she sounds out of breath and can't keep up with her back up dancers half the time  (gasp) ect a project with all brand new songs like the fans deserved so they don't feel cheated (gasps) Maybe her album would have at least made it in the top 20 on itunes.
