So torn because Loud was like one of my very first iTunes purchases and is total nostalgia, but I can recognize that RR is the better album.

Might be an unpopular opinion but never cared for Loud and its singles. Rated R on the other hand is probably my favorite Rihanna album

Rated R eats Loud up... Still her best album.

 

I prefer the latter's cover though

 

I had both Loud and Rated R in my first car's cd player when I got my license  very important albums to me, but I'm pretty evenly split on both; Loud takes it by a hair, though Rated R is more interesting and adventurous than Loud which definitely is more of her comfort zone and was familiar territory for Rih at that time.
