FLO - 'Therapy at the Club'
lmao it just sucks so bad imo. what a waste of that budget i can see they have rn. nothing really sounds fresh, the producers really fumbled this is there really an audience for this kind of edge-less, bland, rnb-tinged pop music? some of these tracks are giving disney channel original movie, others giving lizzo, others giving first album of a thrown together x-factor group with no artistic identity. sober and therapy at the club were nice, mostly because the production is such an improvement from the others that came before and they direct with their vocals... leak it and sex in peace are the only interesting songs on here imo i guess it's my bad for assuming this would be an rnb album

FLO - 'Therapy at the Club'
before i come in with my negative thoughts, anyone want to tell me their favourite songs/moments on the album and why, so i can revisit? i root for flo and want to like this but upon my first listen i'm shocked at how much i dislike it

FLO - 'Therapy at the Club'
i liked their original ep, kinda stopped checking for them afterwards. i don't think their aesthetic choices are good at all, and i think this album title was a choiceโฆ. "club therapy" would've been a much more enticing title excited to listen to this later nonetheless, i hope they're still leaning more naughties rnb like immature and summertime (my fav, sounds like a young jojo smash)

Bebe Rexha & David Guetta - "Sad Girls"

Kim Petras - 'Detour'
pop addict sounds great, i love that she's still throwing new music at us. i'm never delusional or optimistic abt this but i can kinda see a charli collab coming again in the future (kim lead even?). love that she's back in her good graces despite the noticeable distance in last few years. she was such a champion for kim early in her career

i'm in. though i fear erika is massacring them all

Bebe Rexha - 'DIRTY BLONDE'
i'm still stuck in this. one day sounds like a smash waiting to happen, but the end is so weird. where's the extra adlibs? extra vocal layering? choir or something? the way i want you is one of her best songs imo and is so quintessentially bebe. sad girls is such a bop, emotive and evocative and just a great all round great pop song. one day feels like she perfected that american country/rock blend thing she's been doing in the past. while i think the album is great and really feels like she's arrived, it's clear that bebes vocal performance and and the songwriting/vocal melodies totally carries it. i feel that the producers could've gone harder on a lot of the songs.
