Miley Cyrus - 'Something Beautiful'

Isn't there like any insider on her on here that could spill some beans on what to even still expect from this "era"? :rip:

Miley might be my favorite artist at the moment tbh. She's so versatile, her personality is to die for, she's always VERY authentic and none of that pretentious **** that other female popstars do, and

Why do I feel that Miley refused to perfom at the VMAs & that's why she did not get the Video Vanguard this year :weeps:

Im sad!

I like that someone keeps the lights on in this thread. Great album. One of my fav releases this year :duca:

Last I heard deluxe was scrapped

This album is her second best.
A shame that apparently there's nothing planned to celebrate 10 years of her best album aka as Miley Cyrus and her Dead Petz.

From a credible source/actual insider knowledge or from one of those accounts named something like @Insider6969 on Twitter with 230 followers

Damn is crazy how this era FLOPPED SO HARD on one side I feel sorry for her on the other side her attitude is a bit off

Is there anything planned in its place at least?? I mean they could always simply put those songs on Spotify as a digital deluxe and call it a day idgi ugh

Is this confirmed?

From her inconsistencies in regards to why she doesn't tour the least she can do is go on award shows and promote this songs live what is going on Dx she can't just expect commercial success because she's established especially since she hasn't toured and has no plans to for god knows how long

I'm honestly just sad this era died so fast :noparty: I really thought it would've made more noise and had at least a little more commotion around it. It had the potential.

I did love all the podcasts and interviews she did though. I could listen to her talk forever. She has such a good perspective on life and on her creative process, and that part of the era was actually really refreshing. The comments on those podcasts were so positive too, it seems people clearly enjoy hearing her talk and root for her as a person.

But the rollout itself felt off... The album has some really solid tracks but the way it was marketed didn't do it any favors. It came across more like a fashion project with music attached instead of a music project that had fashion elements to go along with it. The single killed the momentum and it was not a strong to sustain or propel a new era. If she had gone with Walk of Fame, I think things would've gone differently. Stopping promo so soon just made it worse too.

I've mentioned this before, but it's weird how she clearly has so many fans around the world and yet doesn't really have a hardcore music fanbase. Like when Miley won her Grammy, everyone was proud of her and it felt like the whole world was rooting for her...Maybe it's because she shifts genres so much from album to album, so it's harder for people to lock onto one "sound" of hers and stick with it.

There's definitely a lot of good in this album, but the way the era was handled just didn't match the quality of the music. It could've been so much bigger.

It has nothing to do with rollout. Miley is a veteran and has been in music industry for almost 2 decades. In those 2 decades among 10 released albums barely 2 are decent. People simply know she's not making good albums and it's hard to keep the fans and GP interested when your output is weak as hell.

FYI: The Target exclusive clear vinyl is currently 50% on clearance at most Targets. It will most likely go down to 70% off in the coming days/weeks.

just your weekly reminder that this is AOTY and Golden Burning Sun will snatch the ROTY/SOTY combo at the Grammys

Why was this album named after a song that sounded *completely* different than the others? :rip:
