Lack of talents

Her performance was horrid and she got outperformed by Margaret Qualley. She does not have the capability to carry a single note to save her life.

I very much disagree. Being born with famous and rich parents is different then growing up poor and dating famous and rich men when you are an adult who then give you connections.

People thinking that LISA's ability to involve herself in the Western entertainment scene are because of her boyfriend are either hatefully delusional, or plainly misogynistic.

This girl has an incredible social media presence (105 Million IG followers), a devoted fanbase, has some degree of fluency in english better than most k-pop idols, and from all accounts of celebrities/people in entertainment seems like a sweet person to meet and work with. That goes a long way.

 

Her getting cast in The White Lotus + receiving good responses to her acting really got certain fanbases and solo fans pressedT.

IMO she should focus more on acting and drop music from time to time.

People drag her for not singing live, but I'd rather an artist who knows their strengths (dancing, performing) do that and focus on what they're good at instead of trying to "prove" something to people who will never like them.

 

Also, she gets dragged for the stupidest things. No1 (outside of kpop/twitter insular communities) cares about it. As long as she keeps her PR clean, and doesn't do something Iggy Azealia's level of CLOWN or idiotic, she's good.

Girl I have yet to see a hate tweet ever since I blocked those 3 accounts that kept using bots for likes and retweets, I'm not saying there is no hate, I'm just saying that almost all of it comes from BoTS jealous fans

Raye got rave reviews from her grammy performance too. ppl are usually impressed with her even if they dont know a single song
