There's been a steady hate train for Lisa everywhere, and for a while too ngl. She lost a lot of her old fanbase when she went the western route and became more "provocative", which of course shocked and turned off the portion of her fans who were used to a certain image of her. That, and the fact she tends to lip sync the vast majority of her performances 

 

Jennie and Lisa were the attention grabbers of BP, especially Lisa, but with everyone in BP going solo, it sort of highlighted which area each member significantly lacked. In this case for Lisa, it was her vocals

It shouldn't be lost on anyone the enormous amount of talented K-pop stars with vocal chops that could've been invited who she may have taken an opportunity away from by having her way in bought & paid for

Like I honestly would barely question Rose because she at least has APT. They could have done anyone else that has a semi decently charting soundtrack song too... like...

Lip sync at the Oscars was an absolutely horrendous choice, especially when right after Raye and Doja (a rapper at that) delivered much better vocals that were actually live.

 

 

Black Pink has a lot of haters + the US has a lot of racists.

 

Her performance wasn't great but promoting yourself isn't a sin.
