It also erased her 'best dancer in kpop' reputation. Those performances outside Korea without camera works exposed her. She's a good dancer but not as good as the fans claim. Some even think she's better dancer than Beyonce (can't find that ATRL thread).

Vocally Rose is weaker than JO1's Vocal line of Junki sho and Sky and the rest of the members of blackpink are vocally weaker than all of JO1

 

Rap wise they're both nothing to write home, but atleast the rappers in JO1 have picked up their pen a few times unlike blackpink, blinks have to make up lies about uncredited writing credits to make blackpink seem more credible to people outside the loop.

 

Dancing wise Lisa falls behing the dancing line of JO1 too

 

JO1 beat blackpink in stage presence too.

I just want to say all three Bond performances sucked. Doja Cat was singing 'Diamonds are forever' and was pretty much flat the whole time. Lisa was channeling random club performance in Philippines (I am Asian not being racist) and that Raye girl singing Skyfall was meh.

 

Now Cynthia and Ariana performance tho. That's talent right there.

I keep on wondering how it must feel to go up there and lipsync after hearing this live. For non kpop fans, please know thay there are no singers in Kpop like Cynthia and there are maybe 3 close to Ari's 2018 vocals if that. Kpop award shows and concerts are filled with lipsync and backtrack so loud you can't tell the vocals from the track. So coming from that industry to this and getting up on a stage you didn't earn your way to is crazy

 

And I like Lisa, she's dealt with a lot of bs in Korea but this wasn't it.

 

 

Some people expect her to sing like idk Raye's grammys performance idk... she is not a vocalist yall she do rap in BP mostly..and whe she sings is talk singing mostly... she will survive this hate train, the thing that i don't like about her is she DOESNT even try to sing her song in live tours performances...she sing 4 seconds and use back track and emote or  dance, be a main dancer then... also isnt' she the most popular one from BP and from KPOP doing WW good?? like there u go.

Most people on this forum could probably sing Live and Let Die better than Lisa…

 

I love her for her dancing and presence, but she shouldn't be doing things like the Oscars and pretending to have vocal talent.  She doesn't deserve hate for it, but her team should be more cautious with how they promote her going forward.

people love to hate but Twitter/X is not the real world so Lisa will be fine 

 

but it makes sense when you look at other tweets of one of the accounts you posted 
 

 

I say this with the utmost respect and love for Lisa (and trust, I do like several songs on her new album):

 

She shines with a big production in South Korea the most and when she channels her bad ***** energy. Thats what she should emphasize.

 

The Oscar performance on the other hand highlighted literally ALL of her weaknesses - mediocre/bad singing voice, no true possess when left with only a nice gown. I know "Oscar performance" sounded incredible on paper, but it literally was what we call "a very bad decision". Its especially bad when u have someone like Cynthia completely STOMPING vocally
