This is not meant to start **** I'm just genuinely curious because I feel like Charli makes very light digs at Taylor all the time online. Like for example this tweet today:

 

 

This comes after an old Taylor clip vent viral recently where she basically said 'I'm never gonna make an album that's just I'm at the club and I'm gonna dance'.

 

Is it just Charli's shady humor or does she actually dislike Taylor? I know Sympathy is a knife is about her but I thought that song was just Charli admitting that Taylor makes her insecure.

Well did they interact at the Grammys? I just read the genius lyrics and it's all speculation that it's about Taylor. Taylor seems to treat fellow popstars well and gave Charli a big platform as an opener. Charli likes her audience to be upbeat and participative, which is why she didn't enjoy the experience. If anything I would guess Charli doesn't **** with someone like Beyoncé.

Can you blame her? Taylor stans have been nothing but awful to her this past year for no reason other than their own insecurity. Imagine having your mentions constantly flooded by people using Taylor avis harrassing you only because your album got a better score at metacritic? I would dislike her too.

Arent those just the lyrics to Club classics? I doubt shes referring to that video.

Y'all need to stop acting like people in their 30s are ancient old people. Not only she's still VERY young but she's also an artist who has to engage with social media as part of her job, of course she's up to what stans are doing on the socials and care about it.

I just assumed the tweet was poking fun at people who were criticizing her win and saying that her songwriting skills suck idk

I do not think it is actually possible for individual consumers to know this kind of thing with any certainty in the absence of explicit, direct, and sincere statements on the subject by these artists.

Anyway, I think this is just in reference to her own song Club Classics. She's just being self deprecating.

You should be asking if Taylor dislikes other artists.

 

Because that Taylor quote applies to many female artists. It was such a pick me thing to say but considering how unseasoned she is, i'm not surprised.

she doesn't need to do any of that, she has social media managers for that. and if she is willingly staying on twitter in year 2025 and reading all of that crap then it's hard to feel any compassion for her

I might not have been intentional but I do think it just goes to show that Charli has been able to make consistently interesting music over the course of her career regardless of how deep or meaningful the lyrics may be.

Well, I hope so. 

What's the point of fake stanning her and her pots and pans music if she doesn't hate Taylor?…ughhh.
