Whether it's Beyoncé, Gaga, Katy, Madonna, Britney, Rihanna, P!nk, Kesha, etc., they've all already cemented their legacies. Their biggest eras are behind them, their impact is already documented, no amount of streams nowadays is going to overshadow their biggest efforts in the past. Kesha will still always be Tik Tok... Gaga will always be Bad Romance & Poker Face... Beyoncé will always be Crazy In Love & Single Ladies.... Katy will always be Dark Horse & Roar... These girl's most memorable pop culture songs/moments/albums will always be from the past. What is the fight about...

This just goes to show how accessible Billboard charts have become. Because Sabrina had a cute smash era with Short N Sweet, but she never reached Gaga's peak... The lack of competition, and pop music being in a dead place nowadays, is definitely benefitting Sabrina.

I don't need to bring up sales to make a point, Rihanna's discography is out there for you to listen to. Do you want the Spotify link? From Pon De Replay, to Disturbia, to Rude Boy, to Man Down, to Four Five Seconds, to Work, etc. Her ability to put her voice on any damn track and make it work makes her versatile. Her numbers are a plus, they only confirm my statement.

Giving credit to Rihanna's producers, as if all pop stars don't have a team of producers behind them including GAGA HERSELF... The utter delusion of some of you to think these girls don't all have a machine behind them... The difference is Rihanna could sell every genre. I believe being able to sell different genres to massive audiences, makes your versatility more believable, than side-projects your own fans don't even care to listen to.

I think what hurt her was that she flopped at the worst time with Bionic. In 2010, the market was oversaturated with pop girls smashing (Rihanna, Gaga, Katy, Kesha, etc.), so it was probably easier for her to be left behind. She flopped right at a time where the competition was rough.

Every album is being carried by singles, this rule applies to everybody. So with that in mind. Why is not everybody having 5 albums charting on Global Spotify?

5 albums charting on Global Spotify when stans wanted her to be a singles artist so bad, is crazy. What I will say is how organic and genuine her success is. Rihanna did not have massive debuts, her success was always relying on longevity and public support. And it paid off in the end, because everyone knows Rihanna's songs. However, nowadays, you could not name every modern pop star hits because they fizzle out.

I definitely agree that her voice is what sets her apart. However, I disagree that you don't need to have a specific sound. In her case, there's nothing we can say sounds like a Xtina song...
