Hey, omg, I didn't go to a mod—it's really not that deep. I just thought the childish insults were unnecessary if we're trying to have a clean debate. They actually weaken your argument, that's all.

 

We all agree that Drake is bigger anyway. And I'm not a drake stan, I hate his music. 

 

If I were actually offended, I would've just reported and moved on. I just wanted to keep the discussion focused since we all reached the same conclusion.

Try clicking the three dots symbol after you hover over the gif, choose 'get share options', copy the one for BBCode Forums, then remove img and /img (the brackets too).

There's someone in Civics using "mentally ill" as an insult constantly. Aside from it being wildly ironic if you know the person in question, I would think that it is be the prime example for a ZTP warning but apparently not since they've been doing it repeatedly with no repercussions. So yeah, moderation is not applied equally. I once called a person that was literally stalking me and attacking me for weeks on end in every thread a weirdo, got an insensitive warning and got punched out for two months but apparently calling people you don't agree with mentally ill repeatedly is a-ok.

Users here are way too comfortable using hideous words as "insults". But they are mostly dealt with. Just dm a mod or even Ryan. He will help for sure. 

Is there any way to clean up the politics thread? Every post right after the other is an embedded Twitter link, it looks like spam and it's sidestepping conversations

Agreed! people that are also too intellectually dense to defend their disturbing world view will also call you pro hamas or something. Not a fan!
