Are titles of things not usually capitalized or was that a lesson I missed in English class?  Hell, this very thread doesn't even follow the "sentence case title" thing that's being payola'd here lately.

It's not "as of late" 😭 it's just that I actually pay attention to it more than some of the previous mods. And honestly, it's really about clarity—there are plenty of times where it's confusing to have every word capitalized and you have to re-read the title several times to understand what the thread is even about  Furthermore, reserving it for special threads (like this one) help indicate that the thread is important/different from a standard thread.

My educational thread debunking false allegations and creating a comprehensive list of Lana's political comments and LGBTQ+ support gets closed without any reason given. Why? I know it must be the decision of one mod as it was done instantly so I'm asking the rest of the staff to re-consider. We have dozens of low quality, brainrot threads made yet something that had a lot of effort and research put into it does not even get a chance? 

 

 

Furthermore, this comment making jokes about Lana's alleged politics posted on a thread that had nothing to do with her, which is off-topic and flamebait, gets no warning points after being reported. I don't see how a Rihanna thread has anything to do with Lana voting for Kamala Harris, which she in fact did.

just avoiding a thread devolving into gotcha moments. Nothing new on her politics from the last year was mentioned and the replies would just bring up her husband, her current imagery and letter for the culture which have all been talked about before. Easier ways to make a thread to get Lana dragged. You could reply to that user if you so wish but it's also a harmless post. Not the first or last artist people make those kind of jokes about and I don't think it derailed the thread enough for a warning. A different mod might disagree with me so feel free to send a help request.

I did send in a help request. I thought the thread was educational and informational and a necessary topic to highlight her liberal past and activism. Obviously I've accounted that there will be moments of people bringing up topics to drag her, but I thought it would also spark high quality conversations from smart members. And I genuinely believe a lot of people just have no idea about her more subtle ways of supporting liberal causes and politicians (her support for Biden/Kamala, raising money for LGBT+ and Native American communities etc.) which were not big conversation topics cause it didn't align with people's ideas of her.

It would look ridiculous if every word was capitalized and it's honestly not very hard to follow. "HQ Thread and More" is capitalized as this is a megathread and that's its title.
