It's kinda annoying when there is finally an interesting/funny/original thread, other users start trying to replicate it, making it gradually less original

People will say things in R Kelly threads that would lead to WPs for trolling in threads about other artists. The difference is those other artists aren't paedophiles or traffickers.

 

Similarly, Katy rehabilitated/laundered Dr Luke's reputation (or at least tried to) in return for him helping her in her desperate search for relevancy/a hit. The threshold of what constitutes an overly harsh comment in those circumstances is therefore higher than in threads about unproblematic artists.

The way those kind of people blame Katy's backlash into Kesha and her stans (when Kesha literally just tweeted 'lol' and has never spoken since), instead of blaming it into Dr. Fluke for giving her awful songs really tells you something about those users and their priorities

Katy's A&R has openly admited he wanted to be part of rehabilitating his reputation, so I don't get the point in denying the evident
