Wonder moderately underperformed and his last album flopped entirely, do you think he still has a chance to make a comeback or do you think he's done commercially speaking? 
 

Personally, I could kinda see him having some success being a hook girlie on some EDM DJ features ala Selena droplets era or like a Where Are U Now vibe like JB got

Maybe, but does HE want that? 'Shawn' could've been some hit record if there was more effort put in.

If he steps his ***** up but for now he just seems one note and very restrained, there needs to be some kind of introspection on his part but does he even have it within him to do that? Anyways he seems boring and doesn't come across as someone that has the vernacular as a teen it's okay to be bland but as you mature there has to be growth, even his ex girlfriend at least is doing something. He is just there and abs can take you so far, for now I'd say no.

I'm not sure if he wants to be huge anymore. But if he does comeback I think he can make a comeback. Going a more rock music route or alternative route. 

More concerned about how deep into drugs he might be right now, something is definitely off.

No. That's not to say he can't score a few hits if he chases trends, but there's no room for him anymore. His niche in the industry has already been filled. 

Yes. I keep spamming this song around in my recommendations for other artists recently, but I need him to get as close as he can to Kacey Musgraves' "Cardinal". We want acoustic, we want Fleetwood Mac meets Laurel Canyon, we want beautiful melodies, and we want something grounded and earthy but stylized. 'Why Why Why" and "Heart of Gold" were a step in the right direction.

 

No more Ed Sheeran ("Something Big"), Nick Jonas ("In My Blood", "There's Nothing Holding Me Back") or Justin Bieber ("Stitches", "Senorita", "If I Can't Have You"), and definitely less Harry Styles (Wonder ) influences.

 

I would actually like to see him work with Jacob Collier.

he could, never rule out anyone. but i don't think it's likely. fame has crushed him and he no longer has the talent or work ethic that artists need to rebound.

They should have use the fact that pop boys such as Harry and Justin are having break and just add 2-3 songs with good writer and producer to the album last minute to make sure he get some commercial hit.

I don't think so. He will have to put down the guitar. I can't even give his latest album any pity streams and I feel like I was in the minority here up to it's release who actually was interested in it.

He's still young and hot so yeah I think so. He really needs to stop with the spiritual **** and the chakras and the 'finding himself' and 'speaking his truth' stuff that he's been going on about for years. Just make some fun music dude 

I love Shawn (the album), but it's obviously not commercial. He likely isn't going the commercial route anymore BUT if he keeps this folky acoustic sound (maybe add a bit more rock elements to it), I'm in. His music may not be for the GP anymore but I think this sound is authentic to him now. Kinda like John Mayer, he found his identity. A couple of collabs here and there wouldn't hurt but I love this lane for him. And who knows, maybe this sound becomes popular again and he somehow gets a hit.
