Predict R9's first week units if Rihanna were to drop the album in 2025 or 2026.

I wouldn't be surprised if it did 500k due to the massive hype and curiosity. Its longevity is a whole other question but she has milked this break for far too long to flop.

I would agrih if this were 2018.. but it's been way too long. I'm thinking at least 500k.

Her usual 100-200k in the US but she'll have longevity if the music is great.

Rih has never done anything above 250K opening week in the U.S. She's sold more in one week in the U.K. than she has in the U.S. so expecting some of these numbers I'm seeing even with whatever hype is kind of crazy

Anything less than 200k+ would be disappointing. Call me crazy but I feel like during her absence she has somehow managed to build a bigger core fanbase than she did during her active years when she was a gp-driven girlie so even 200k might be lowballing it.

could see her doing more than that because her star seems to have only risen since her music hiatus (and streaming is such a big chart component now) but she was never a first week seller so it's kinda hard to predict
