I think people were interested in what he was going to do from 2019-2021 but not necessarily interested in his music/artistry.

I don't know... I thought he was a one hit wonder after Old Town Road and then Montero happened. On the other hand, I don't think he's particularly talented so I'm not sure he has what it takes to pull off a comeback. Not a great writer, singer or rapper.

It was kind of obvious that he would be just a temporary singer, especially since he didn't establish any solid foundation or anything, just involved in a soft porn to get clicks.

No unless his label decides to put in money towards promoting him, but they're not going to do that. Plus I don't think anyone is asking for new lil nas x music in 2025.

Every attempt he makes at a comeback is themed entirely around the fact it's an attempted comeback. It's painful to watch, and I genuinely think people can sense the vacuousness so much that it puts them off.

Please just start from scratch with an actual idea.

I'm sure he can have 1-2 more hits by creating some buzz but sadly I don't see him having longevity.

Only if he actually puts effort on his career. Montero as album could have two more hits if put effort in, but the era fizzled out weirdly. 

 

He also waits far too long with releasing follow ups. He could have had a decent streak of top 40 hits had he just kept putting stuff out regularly. 

 

So in theory he could make a 'comeback' but if he just goes on the way he does, he will just fizzle out.

I think it's been made fairly obvious that nobody really cares about him and and I don't see why that would suddenly change so in that sense... no. More random hit songs aren't impossible, though.

No. He'll probably release another Christian rage bait single 

It's a shame because after the hot load of **** that was J Christ he really put out some great songs this year with Light Again and of course the hit that got away HE KNOWS
