That's not a legacy artist is. A legacy artist is someone whos fans are not interested in new material but just their back catalog. They can tour very easily with huge numbers but struggle to make any impact with new material. Cher, P!nk, Katy Perry, Shania Twain, Barbra Streisand

Chromatica isnt caried by one song and this doesn't make any sense, albums are always 'carried' by the singles, back in the days of buying albums people bought the whole album off the back of one song. Sometimes albums only had 1 or 2 singles

no, physical media is actually what earns money. You think artists should be paid virtually nothing for their work? why on earth would 1 stream where the label gets about 1 16th of a penny, a physical media artists and labels get huge amount more. Also what incentive is there to buy if it is the same points as streaming If anything sales should have MORE weight With respect, I hardly doubt vinyls are making any difference to anything, have you seen how much worse for the planet lol

I do, I bought 4 CD sinlges and played them in my car, and I also pre ordered the vinyl I recently bought the Yes, And? remix CD single Don't assume how others consume music Also artist and labels are getting more profit from physical media than streaming

why would they remove sales? Sales are more important than any point in the 2020s, Artists are releasing physical CDs, Vinyls even on singles now as people are buying them on mass Over 10k CD single of love sensation got kylie and Madonna a top 10 in the UK
