What was the "individual branding" of groups like 2NE1, because non events like Dara or Minzy were part of that group, let's not even get to Sistar irrelevant members, Miss A, AOA, or groups like Secret or Girls Day you act as if 2nd gen groups were full of stars and great idols when the reality is there was just as much mediocrity, except for the creativity of the music, 2nd gen has nothing on 3rd and 4th.

I'm not talking about literal individual members  

 

There are flops here and there but it's nothing if you campare them to the sea of mediocrity the genre have become, don't be obtuse

The music is terrible. Nobody would care for PAKs and stats if the music was actually good. Anyone would Stan the biggest flop that sells 2 copies if the quality was there. The difference is there's a large deflection for stats when the quality is utter garbage. Love Dive and I Am are some of the strongest singles from the 4th Gen, but to follow it up with a streak of 5 (6?) duds when you're capable of that is a massive disappointment 

Half of 2ne1 being in controversy right now is kinda insane (Sandara Drake & park bom)

who would have thought that blinks would be the luckiest, most fed with music and content bunch in kpop history?  

 

blackpink solos are most exciting thing that happened in kpop since like forever

 

 

 

this was from the last 8 months alone and this is just the music side. the modelling, acting jobs etc arent even included here

Girl, you are stanning their worst music just because it did well. "I Am's" chorus is screeched so poorly and serves "Cheshire" by ITZY. Give me Heya, Either Way, Baddie and Attitude over that mess any day

I think a slice of the "Ive hate" is just bitterness towards Starship for shelving WJSN while simultaneously not giving them consistently serving good music when they are fully capable of it (TKO, Flu, Blue Heart, etc.,). Lowkey won't be surprised if they get a Sistar-type shift next comeback the way things are looking so they don't clash with KiiiKiii
