That may be true but aespa had like the whole thread against them back them. 

Two or three people going in at IVE is nothing compared to those times. Especially when they aren't bad mouthing the members.

nmixx needs to come through with a pop bop, i'm tired of that mess.

 

NMIXX debuted at an unfortunate time with a concept that was overly daring and campy, especially as K-pop was transitioning into a new era defined by the NJ formula, girl next door concepts and an overall minimalistic approach in general. If they had debuted just a year earlier, they might have found more success, given aespa's breakout with Next Level around that time. It seems like JYPE wanted to capture some of the success from Next Level and launched a group whose concept heavily borrowed from that song. However, by the time NMIXX debuted which was less than a year later, the concept already felt outdated, leading them to be overshadowed by other rookie girl groups who debuted the same year such as NewJeans, IVE and LE SSERAFIM.

 

Like O.O and Dice would've been way bigger if they were released in 2020-2021 for example
