Then again, most BGs are pretty much flops domestically

No MelOn hit in Korea and yet still the biggest Kpop act globally after BTS and BP. We stan global legends 

 

But it is indeed funny how SKZ have it easier charting on Billboard than MelOn, when it's usually the opposite for a Kpop act, since Billboard is way harder to chart on

The fact that they can go Top 50 on the Hot 100 but struggle to go Top 20 in Korea is something else. They have like 20 Top 10s on the WW chart but only one Top 10 in Korea. It's weird

SKZ are actually quite popular in Korea, but for some reason it just doesn't reflect on the charts  Their concerts, merch and fan meetings etc. all sell out over there immediately
