They're not AI they're animated. It's not the same thing. Also its alot more nuanced than that because kpop is full of great music and talent. Its sad to see you think of it as a joke when it open the glass ceiling on the fact that the us still won't ever truly open Asian artists with open arms to success in their territories unless they're packaged a certain way

Please don't. Animation is a form of art as valid as any other, "idk what you were expecting" is degrading. Like we shouldn't expect an animated movie to be well written? When Sony itself did just that with Spiderverse and The Mitchell, so yes, I was expecting more from KPop Demon Hunters than just a cute fun movie.

It's entertaining, but it's not very well written, there are too many ideas for 1 and a half hours, all characters but Rumi and Jinu are underdeveloped, third act is underwhelming, and the Celine/Rumi plot feels unfinished, their relationship wasn't fully fleshed out and the conflict was inconclusive.

Also, am I the only who feels Celine was supposed to be Rumi's mom and that got rewritten?
