Even as a fan, I find it very hard to believe that gaga has a song doing 10m+ streams everyday on global Spotify for almost 2 months now. Even someone like Taylor will take 7 births but still maynot achieve this. Thoughts 🤔 

The song is smashing on both Spotify and YouTube, has been viral on TikTok since release, and also been doing well on Apple Music US. So no.

Bruno's last release was in 2021, so there was a ton of pent up demand

there's nothing "suspicious" about those numbers, since Gaga and Bruno are slaying simultaneously on Spotify, YouTube, Apple Music, TikTok and Instagram reels. An example of very suspicious numbers is Bon Appétit, with incredible YouTube views, but a tank everywhere else ! Hope that helps!

What I find odd is the song not reaching #1 on any of the biggest official charts

It's the type of song the straights eat up

Rumor has it if the song was a basic dance pop record y'all wouldn't be making these type of threads. A good but basic song like Espresso smashing is pop culture but a timeless pop ballad with 2 veterans that sounds like a classic is sus right? 

Probably, but Bruno is huge and people miss him solo so there's a lot of goodwill around. Is it a good song?

If you look up at YouTube the most replayed part is Gaga's dance... and also the number matches the spotify, youtube and AM.

 

Youtube: 3M daily #1 (english song)

Spotify: 10M daily #1

AM: Top 1-3 for like 3-4 weeks

This is only being asked because of how her movie is doing. The song is absolutely incredible and sounds like a classic and will be a classic. I just hope it gets the Hot 100 #1 but somehow the trash song that's currently #1 won't let up. 

South-East Asia performance.

 

It's doing okay to solid in the West, but smashing in South-East Asia specifically. And Spotify has grown a lot in those regions over the past few years, leading to higher numbers.
