It's very Obviosuly that many users on ATRL do not like Gaga, so I wanted to discover what the main reason is. I provided some options in the poll

People who dislike Lady Gaga are probably nostalgic for 2011 when it used to be cool to hate on her.

 

You can see they have a tendency to fantasize about the past from the moment they start bumping threads from 2023.  

She's a coward who pivoted to straight genres and aesthetics to save her career

I don't dislike her. But sometimes I feel like she can get a bit pretentious about her art / performances. This would be fine, but not with music like Chromatica. I think she was always at her best when maintaining a mysterious aura, making forward-thinking pop, and having fun.

Inconsistency 

They all lived vicariously through her success but as soon as **** hit the fan and she showed signs of being a human with struggles they decided to taunt her instead. It's quite sad actually. Also probably unhappy in their own lifes and projecting. That and lack of bops me thinks. I love her tho and have supported her unwaveringly since 2011.

Yeah stupid Love is basically the epitome of what you're saying. All that talk about high art and then dropping something that feels like a throwaway track from 2012? It's giving try-hard more than forward-thinking

She was cool until the Artpop era, then she got a dose of critical failure and became the lamest woman ever, specially when you take into account how forward and in your face she used to be.

Her music has been overproduced trash since telephone has been released. Ya gas her for being artsy and she's is mostly cringe.  her obnoxious jazz voice over pop music is bad. Her real vocal tone sounded better than this faux jazz ****.  
 

also her fans are some of the most annoying "people" on this planet.

I dislike and both love Gaga for her inconsistency, her unpredictability, versatility. 

On one hand it's frustrating having whole eras of delays, bad choices, jazzx10, her being quick on abandoning. But on the other hand that makes her the most dedicated, unique and chaotically artistic in this regard. 

Literally the industry's wild card and chameleon, but this is a double-edged sword, for fans, for GP, for her mental health, for everything
