Finally caved in and bought Oud Maracujá and Hibiscus Mahajád from Maison Crivelli, they smell divine :jonny2:

And let me tell you, it genuinely only takes 2 to 3 sprays max for them to easily perform for 12 hours, even more if the weather isn't particularly hot. Never tried other fragrances that last and project so long, they're legit impressive.

I'm tired of designer perfume, they all smell generic and cheap

my current fave is Delina (rose litchi combo) and Althair (chocolate cinnamon). I also like MFK perfumes because how airy they are

But I need something for summer soon, want to try out Torino 21 but the sample is quite expensive and it's not at the mall like other niche brands

just bought prada paradox intense :alexz:

now i need a floral perfume (no fruity or vanilla notes) for summer

I need more Guerlain classics, I remember trying Jicky and instantly falling in love with it. L'Heure Bleue was so beautiful too. Truly the TABS of Maisons de Parfum, so timeless, so elegant. Wow

It's always "omg this perfume smells sooo good and exactly like whatever expensive perfume and it doesn't smell cheap at all", when it smells nothing like the other perfume and it smells cheap :suburban: I'm glad I never blind buy, I couldn't imagine how many people have fallen victim to perfume hype.

I'm never quite finding what I'm looking for in a fragrance :gaycat6:

I recently got No 4 Bois de Balincourt because I sampled it at a store and liked the creaminess and cleanliness… but it's giving pickles now :gaycat6:

Powdery notes>>>

I lowkey think they will become trendy again soon, the gworls are TIREDD of the nauseating Vanilla gourmands, they yearn for Mimosa and Iris

I feel like vanilla is at an all time high popularity wise and I can't stand it because it's in every perfume out there :monkey: but yas to mimosa and especially iris :clap3:

Fell to the hype and blind bought Opulent Dubai by Lattafa. Apparently it's a dupe of God of Fire and everybody and their mamas are talking about how good it is, so I guess we'll see.

I had no idea this thread existed! I literally own hundreds of perfumes, mostly niche ones, this is so exciting!

:ihype:

The way Valentino Born In Roma Uomo has crept up and slowly became my signature scent it just smells divineeee

I also tried Armani Stronger with You Intensely recently but the pepper notes are sooo overpowering it's a bit tew much on initial spray. **** lasts a while on clothes tho!

Debating on if my next purchase should be Burberry Hero or a repurchase of D&G's The One

Hey Perfume girlies, I'm new to the perfume world
I'm looking for my signature scent. I luv fresh and aquatic scents but I turn to florals sometimes too. My first perfume that I loved was CK's Gold One but it unfortunately doesn't last very long in my experience. I really liked Xtina's Definition, it's very warm and feminine, but I have to be in a certain mood to wear it. Anyway, as a Xtina stan I wanna try out other perfumes from her.

Recently I bought Prada's Paradoxe and am excited to wear it, I really loved it when I got the sample and tried it out.

My favorite perfume so far has to be Rituals' Karma body mist, it's bergamote, lotus and white tea. I saw girlies on fragrantica saying it has a spa kinda smell and I can see it but it doesn't bother me, I love how fresh and aquatic it is, I feel like a magical and mysterious sirene diva when I spray it on myself :gaycat2: Unfortunately it's really weak and doesn't last long so I just tend to wear it when I chill in my house. If y'all have any recommendations of aquatic, herbal, fresh, ocean air, mountain breeze kinda fragrances then I gladly accept each and every one!

What are some good strong masculine scents? The ones you smell in passing that SLAPS your nostrils and smells like fresh soap or something.

Alternatively, what are some musky but sweet masc scents?

Currently obsessed with Nishane's fragrances, I've always liked Hundred Silent Ways and Ani, and I just discovered Wulong Cha and I can't get over the tea note in it :jonny5:

Got my nose on a couple of Mancera samples and oh my god, they're sooo good! Sicily has me in a chokehold :jonnycat:

The perfect scent for this is:

issey_miyake_le_sel_d_issey_eau_de_toile

It's so so good. The designer tried to capture the essence of salt (that's basically what it's name translates to) and it is AMAZING.

My favourite sweet/musky smell is this but it has strong oud notes too. This one is unisex and it's very hard to obtain unless you live in the middle east

So a little update on my Mancera journey: caved in and bought a full bottle of French Riviera because whew that's summer by the beach if I've ever smelt one. So powerful and long lasting too for a freshie, it's kinda impressive!

Just added a few masterpieces into my collection, some became my signature scent :WAP:

Pacific Rock Moss (Goldfields & Banks): The best summer aquatic fragrance imo. Aquatic/marine note can be nausea-inducing but this one is very moderate, calming. The citrus is subtle and not aggressive like muti-purpose cleaner. There's new flanker the flower one but I haven't take a sniff on that one yet.

Summer Hammer (Lorenzo Pazzaglia): I keep switching this with Pacific Rock Moss as my daily signature scent. Living in hot wet tropical climate, this perfume perfectly serves the vibe with delicious coconut mango pineapple combination. It's extrait de parfum with almost 40% concentration, very potent!

Encounters (Francesca Bianchi): It takes a bold and mature character to wear anything from this house. If you familiar with Bianchi signature DNA, it's animalic so sensual. Not really a fan of oud fragrance but somehow she did it! So addictive but I won't call it a mass pleasing. You will radiate a very unique aura.

Cherry Punk (Room 1015): There's extrait version but I do prefer the EDP one because it's less sweet. Not really your typical cherry perfume that usually more to gourmand side, this one takes different approach, it comes with very prominent cherry and black leather notes. You'll definitely smell like a bad *****/hot guy!

I'm currently in my perfume era. Recently ordered a bunch of Maison Francis Kurkdjian samples and loving them all. Oud Satin Mood is the standout for me

I'm autistically obsessed with perfume, but only old **** :alexz2:

My holy trinity:

375x500.25317.jpg

which is the reference chypre. A melange of earthy ripe fruit flesh, mild powdery spices, and my treasured wet green velvety moss breathing into the overcast Paris evening. Wistful and nostalgic, melancholy. I wear the eau de parfum 360 days in the year, my signature, the scent everyone knows me by

375x500.15.jpg

which is Mitsouko but in neon and wearing a leather jacket ravaged with cigarette burns. All the mellow emotions replaced with attitude and aggression. Bitter vase water, ashtray, rose, moss. Mitsouko is the lady and Bandit is the tramp

375x500.47794.jpg

which is a different genre from the other two, a shockingly anachronistic leather floral. The scent of imperial courts, soldiers on horseback, luxurious leather gloves and boots tanned with rich floral oils. A perfume for fur and jewels and snow and palaces and sweaty sex in the stables. I wear it sometimes in the winter when I want to be Anna Karenina

What do you think about the reformulated version of Mitsouko from the Les Legendaires collection? Is it much different from the vintage?

It's a commendable reconstruction, much closer to the full-bodied 20th century versions than to the bastardized reformulation from the early 2000s.

I just got the whole discovery set from Maison Crivelli, their stuff is kinda very tiring, they are so dense and powdery and attack your noistrils still after 8 hours. Nuclear performance at least I guest but not for me

Tried out Silky Wood and Ingenious Ginger and they are both airy and unique, good stuffs. Coming from the same performer who made Althair

Good to know, I got the EDT a couple of weeks ago. At first it felt very airy and indecipherable but over time it started giving me the peach that I was expecting. There is something elusive about it, which I appreciate
