Not surprised. Ice Spice is Iggy Azalea's daughter after all.

Ice Spice invited her friend Cleo to be an opener for Y2K! tour just one day before it was set to start. The two had become friends shortly before Ice Spice went viral with her hit song "Munch." When they first met, Ice Spice described it as a "full circle moment" to meet Cleo.

However, things quickly took a turn during the tour. Cleo revealed on TikTok that she was not paid for her performances, nor was she featured on the tour poster. Additionally, Ice Spice's behavior made Cleo uncomfortable, such as purposefully excluding her from dinners, misleading her on expenses, and placing Cleo's designer bag outside their shared dressing room. Shortly after the latter incident, Cleo discovered a $700 fraudulent charge on her credit card.

When Cleo confronted Ice Spice about her discomfort with how she was being treated on tour, Ice Spice responded by calling her "ungrateful" and "careerless." This comes a few months after Ice Spice's former friend Baby Storme exposed her for being a bad friend.

Yeah this is crazy

I'm officially not a fan. What a dumb chick 😒

Whenever someone comes into success and wealth, a bunch of unsuccessful people always line up to leech off them - whether it's money, fame, attention. It sounds Ice Spice gave this unknown artist a big opportunity, and instead of being appreciative and capitalizing on it, she's trying to assassinate Ice's reputation in order to leech a few moments of relevance.

Her sampling one of Miley's best deep cuts and eating it down is the main reason why I'm taking her side. I could care less about this drama but she possesses 10x more the talent that Ice Spice has.

if you call Cleo a leech/clout chaser you have a poor understanding of the situation. These assumptions from the jump are the exact seeds of doubt that stem from the narcissism and defensiveness that pop into artists heads like ice spice, that creates situations like this. Baby storme exposed ice spice being shady to Cleo already btw, and Cleo seemingly  ignored it. That would've been a prime scenario for a leech to capitalize off of drama and yet….

Anyways, artist like Ice that have gained a swift streamline into megafame without experiencing the nuance and slow burn of that fame will think exactly like this and burn bridges all the same. She's too big to be acting so petty, and unfortunately for her she won't be afforded the same grace barbs give Nicki because she has barely solidified her place in the industry :deadbanana4:

I was ready to relegate this low-hanging fruit IG fodder, but it's so intriguing.

Mainly because I'm actually torn.

Cleo made a lot of points and everyone can't be wrong about aspects of Ice Spice. From the story (and I've watched all parts) there IS a scary level of disconnect she has from the situation that is kind of unfair when considering that she invited Cleo onto the tour.

At the same time, from a purely business perspective. Ice's job (in reality) is to focus on her own ish. A lot of Cleo's rant almost presents as if she expected Ice Spice (who has 100s of things on her mind and on her shoulders as the central act on the tour) to centralize her well-being (from the trivial aspects like her luggage to food to changing spaces). It's the nice thing to do and probably the right thing to do, but (in practical terms) it's kinda far-fetched to expect it to be an "Ice Spice" wrong per se. IMO, the rants would have been better directed at Ice's...team.

Which leads me to...Ice Spice's manager actually raised a lot of valid points about missteps/total lack of steps Cleo team made. The irony, though, is that this kind of shows up Ice's team too for not proactively taking those steps if inviting an act on tour. Having Ice invite an act on tour, not make adequate plans for said act, and then turn around and point out the missteps of the act's team is...a choice. One that again points to why Cleo's anger is better placed at the feet of Ice's team and thus, arguably, is a little...misplaced.

It's clear Ice's reaction and their **personal** fallout is what has her going for her so hard.

But Ice's team is still trash for even accepting Cleotrapa to be the opening act 1 day before the tour started.

i guess she (ice spice) is insecure because she knows that she has no talent
