An artist dropping full-length projects often should be a dream for the listener. Is it really that important for the eras to have lots of visuals, single releases or long term chart success? As long as the quality of the albums is good I couldn't care less.

There's no such thing but it's definitely not the artists who hardly put out albums :dies:

Rihanna (always loved her album tracks more tbh)

Lady Gaga (I mean monster, so happy I could die, mary jane holland and manicure etc. clears the singles imo)

More like 2005-2008.

Rated R - Unapologetic are all solid projects that prepared us for the slayage of ANTI:dies:

Naming the same woman who gave us B'Day, 4, Self Titled, and Lemonade while having a Taylor avatar is crazy:bibliahh:

Literallyyy!!! Coming from the same girl who has dropped nearly 10 albums within the last 5 years. NOT including the 20 variants for each one and half of them being f*cking RE-RELEASES!!! :deadbanana2:

Beyonce, Taylor, Rihanna once upon a time, Drake, Kanye, Lana, and lots of artists in the 1960s and 1970s (David Bowie comes to mind)

Beyonce, yes. GaR? Coronamatica was the era that would never end :bibliahh: We should be looking forward to LG8 now, not LG7

Carly Rae Jepsen and Ellie Goulding always serve good albums imo but don't really resonate on charts for singles, etc.

Not necessarily lil albums, though, especially in Ellie's case.

I would include Beyoncé post self titled as well.

I'd also add Lana.

Not sure what a quick lil album is defined by, though...

This is always my answer too. :rip:

Poor girl was recording new songs, attending writing camps, promoting her latest single, and touring all at the same time.

New lead singles would drop less than a month after the previous one. Tour set lists would be revamped after a few dates because a new album had dropped.

Rih's peak is impressive, but also pop at its most corporate.

kpop kids be dropping quick lil (mini) albums two, three times a year. maybe a full abum too who knows? then the same album but there's one more song so it's a repackage. truly the winning team :hey:

Kpop acts

Rihanna 2005-2012, Ariana 2018-2020 (More inclined to their most hardworking pop girl era)

Drake post NWTS

Kanye post Yeezus

Chris Brown post FAME

The one who was raised in an asylum we wouldn't last in an hour in :eddie:

Rihanna (before Anti or in general) is an incorrect answer.

In order to be an (even quick little) album artist, you're supposed to drop a BODY OF WORK. Not a playlist with 3-4 BOPS at most and scraps/rejects that bring the number of tracks up to call it an album.

Here's some data to help you all make your choices.
