On their respective day 400, Manchild's outstreaming all Olivia's singles. Surprised?
All this says to me is that they're both making classics... Olivia's being particularly impressive because some of those songs from her debut weren't even singles

Should Shakira pull a Confessions II?
Donde Estan Los Ladrones? 2 would go crazy, I wonder who stole her notebook with the original songs, and why wouldn't they try selling it

Moana (2026) Review Thread: 37% on Rotten Tomatoes, 44% on Metacritic

From being ignored in 2013, in what moment Gaga earning the industry's respect?
That Oscar's performance for Sound of Music - Bobby knew what he was doing putting her voice at the forefront. Many stans didn't like how stripped back Joanne was, but Million Reasons, amazing touring/performances, and subsequently ASIB are why Gaga is where she is now with her branding.

Hilary Duff - "Catastrophe"
Hoping this means she's got a full spark for music back and actually starts to release more music, or at least one more album this decade.

Sufficient time has elapsed, which Gaga album is better than Confessions II?
I'm biased because Madonna's shaky-at-best vocals are grating to me, but all of Gaga's albums are better

Kacey Musgraves - 'Middle of Nowhere'
Forgot all about this album and listened to it earlier this week and wow. I didn't really get into Deeper Well, but this feels like a good mix of Pageant Material and Golden Hour (her best albums). So many songs hit on the first listen, this deserved the hype that Star Crossed had and lost because the material just didn't connect.

Why does Olivia serve classy pop-rock but Katy serves tacky?
She's now a rich, white woman with practically no real musical knowledge or interest outside of being famous and having hit songs. She can't recreate some of the magic of her pop-rock songs like "Self-Inflicted" because she's almost entirely reliant on material given to her by producers and a label. She simply doesn't have anything interesting to say or no real artistic vision for the the things she does, and that's very much needed when trying to channel the emotion necessary for pop-rock songs.

Why is Artpop seen as comparable to Witness and Bionic?
I don't think I've seen anyone compare ARTPOP to these other two in a long time. Retrospectively, no, ARTPOP had two hits, its tour was successful, and the era overall is very much loved by the core fanbase. She could do an ARTPOP anniversary tour and still do stadiums. The other two have a hard time even selling arenas.
