Forgot all about this album and listened to it earlier this week and wow. I didn't really get into Deeper Well, but this feels like a good mix of Pageant Material and Golden Hour (her best albums). So many songs hit on the first listen, this deserved the hype that Star Crossed had and lost because the material just didn't connect.

She's now a rich, white woman with practically no real musical knowledge or interest outside of being famous and having hit songs. She can't recreate some of the magic of her pop-rock songs like "Self-Inflicted" because she's almost entirely reliant on material given to her by producers and a label. She simply doesn't have anything interesting to say or no real artistic vision for the the things she does, and that's very much needed when trying to channel the emotion necessary for pop-rock songs.

I don't think I've seen anyone compare ARTPOP to these other two in a long time. Retrospectively, no, ARTPOP had two hits, its tour was successful, and the era overall is very much loved by the core fanbase. She could do an ARTPOP anniversary tour and still do stadiums. The other two have a hard time even selling arenas.

Hmm I'd say we stopped expecting her to do much or rebound after Lotus bombed even with the help of Max Martin. She still had hits on features until then, and being on The Voice helped keep her celebrity status afloat for a bit. So basically until 2012.

There's really no way of predicting how their careers will play out, everyone on here was even doubting Billie during the release of Happier Than Ever - the title song had to take off for it to be considered a huge era. If their teams are smart enough, they'll at least set them up for being strong, consistent touring artists that can still get a top 10 debut 20 years from now.

She and Thalia should go on a rivals tour just like Gloria and Alejandra did, that'd be great promo for both of them considering Paulina is doing god knows what lately and Thalia has been busy spending Tommy Mottola's coins from Mariah's record sales to release cover albums
