Such a great album! But my favorite album by them it's actually humanz, i know most of the fandom don't like it but i love it, maybe you can try that one out after you're done with PB.

This. DARE is one of the best dance songs of all time.

I tried to get into them a few years ago but didn't like most of their stuff, but they do have some iconic singles. I really think they have the right amount of success and recognition tbh.

I only know 1 or 2 songs, I think. So I wouldn't say they are overrated.

to my surprise that dream pop shoegaze genres never break into mainstream, meanwhile, psychedelic pandered electro pop that damon crafted work because of their songwriting rather than gimmick beat and shock factor.

in general no, but in the 2010s whenever they had big eras they were a bit overrated on tumblr. but yeah, in general NOPE!

They/their stans were very humbled when Humanz came out after that long break and people were lowkey panning them, and personally my favorite albums of theirs are also seemingly the most liked by others (Demon Days > Plastic Beach > Gorillaz > Song Machine), AND even their albums that people seem to drag have underrated songs I love... so I say NO!
