because she got will e am on it instead of just releasing the solo version AND! as much as I love Cmon NOW, it wasn't the right second single choice at that moment in time. Crazy Kids as a second would've been an easy smash

It was such a bop. It was never a massive level smash but at least deserved top 10. Cmon probably ruined her hype a bit

Will.i.am contaminating the song. His style was so 2000 and late at the time

Had she simply released Last Goodbye as second single the era would be bigger than Animal

Because it's a trash song that only got released as a single because Luke wanted to spite Kesha at this point.

 

Neither her nor her fans wanted this song to be a single and if it had been up to Kesha, she probably would never have recorded the song to begin with.

I actually love this song

The era kind of just died after C'mon and the Sandy Hook tragedy. And the GP wasn't buying Kesha's music   idk if they were turned off with her image at that point or what

The will.i.am remix being the one they pushed to radio is why it flopped. It ruins the song.

Horrible verse from Will.u.not and ugly video, but the song is stunning otherwise. The bridge is otherworldly and surprisingly emotionally resonant.

Omg this was a thousand year ago I was a kid... there was something wrong with the song though, i think it was the will.i.am part

The sound was dated, she hated the song and she was on autopilot at this stage and doing whatever Luke's team asked if her. 
 

She looks miserable in the video. 

The remix with Will.I.Am should never have seen the light of day. The original is so good.
