Little Mix solos making zero noise

Featured Replies

Little Mix is the biggest girl group in London, with hits like "Hair" and "Sweet Melody" under their belt. Fans were fully in support of the members' decision to go on a hiatus and pursue solo projects. Unfortunately, their solo releases have yet to make a huge dent or have the cultural impact they wanted. Do these girls have star power, or are they simply just lacking?

They're London's biggest girl group, of course people are surprised.

Regardless if you doubt their solo power... it's so funny a bunch of y'all saying they never brought anything to the table or that they were basic when LM can literally SING CIRCLES around your faves

"Biggest girl group in London" :deadbanana:

NE-way, I don't think so far any of Leigh-Anne's stuff has really held up, and I think weirdly if Jesy was able to keep up with her original record deal she would have kept up the success. We'll see how Perrie and Jade do.

I don't intend this to be shady but is anyone really surprised?

ironically it was the UK balegdah baddie's solo debut made the biggest noise. it was a fart noise but still :coffee2:

All except Jesy waited too long. Things move fast. And they're too old to be making solo debuts. Perrie might just wing it, but it's not super likely.

Only Jade has solo cunnnt factor. If the material is good I think she'll do very well.

Yeah I agree tbh. Boyz was a disaster, but I think if she'd followed it up with another single a couple of months later, people would've at least tuned in.

Not a disgruntled fifth harmony stan still being mad ten years later

they are all too old and little mix peaked almost ten years ago at this point, if they wanted to go solo back then was the time

No shade to them (I luv some of her songs) but I feel like they bring nothing new to the table, nothing that 5H and other girl groups haven't done before, and I'm saying that as a group so we can't expect something different for them as soloists.

I have hope in Jade tho, she's been my favorite since day 1 and she's very talented so I hope she's able to pull it tho.

I love this performance sm.

I guess because I'm in the US my perception is skewed, but I thought their success was fairly limited even though they had hits; like they always seemed significantly less successful than 1D so I wasn't really expecting someone to emerge like Harry or even Camilla from 5H unless the material was there

Only perri and jade ever stood a chance solo.

jessie has the best single so far in with perri about to tie that. Leigh Anne's music is awful (my love is cool)

2 of them haven't even released yet so there's that :deadvision:

Let's wait till Jade and Perrie release before we jump to any rash conclusions :coffee:

I mean, the ones that could've served something haven't released yet but yeah, they're taking way too long to release.

this simply makes no sense. After all, they are the biggest girl group in London.... we have to get to the bottom of this

no shade but Jade is the only one with starpower and she refuses to release anything so there's ur answer

People on here always clown them but they were everywhere from like 2015-2018 in the UK. Their tour in 2017 was big and domestically was one of the biggest of the year. Glory Days is 4x platinum and Get Weird is 3x platinum in the UK. Not to mention they got a #1 10 years into their career when everyone thought they were over.

If Perrie had gone solo (like her label kept begging her to) back in 2016/17 she absolutely would've been a fixture in the UK pop scene.
