Univesal owns the entirety of those master recordings. What was sold, amongst other things, was Katy's right to collect royalties from those recordings. I don't know what they're teaching at the Joe Germanotta School of Commerce and Charcuterie, but it really doesn't make sense that Litmus would use streaming farms to enrich Universal and the other songwriters.
