I don't think it's impossible, but it's very unlikely. Even if she randomly gets a hit, like Meghan Trainor had with Made You Look, i don't think this will impact her album sales.

 

If she calls Mr. Gottwald back she'll have a better shot on getting some hits, but even with him i'm still not sure.

If Katy comes back and Gaga underperforms, OGHs will rush like piranhas at the taste of blood.

She tried that route featuring Migos when they were smashing in 2017 and jumping on a remix for the massive WW hit Con Camla at its peak and we all saw where that led.

Con Calma actually peaked inside the Top 20 on Pop.  Not great, but not a flop, either.   I think it was #17.  Bon Appetit was a disaster tho, with the anti-gay controversy.

Katy and Avril are worlds different from each other.

Tbh Dua ended up replacing her on the radio and is much fresher and trendier. She’d have to do a complete rehaul image wise and artistically to have a chance
