I didn't love this and i'm quite disappointed - I was rooting for her 

I've been reading some new interviews released today. 

- She said the collab with Tems didn't come together until two days before she had to turn the album in. The album was always 14 tracks long so I wonder what track it replaced 

- She mentions that she wants to incorporate dancehall, dembow & jersey club into her music next.

- She also speaks on why she's been vague about her injury, why it's important for her to push her amapiano sound etc.

First time listening to the full album and On My Body is the standout new track so far.

 

The album is a snooze in general though but I normally love  or fully appreciate albums by the second or third listen

I agree that's the way for her to go. She has to show more versatiliy on her next album and explore different sounds. My main problem with this album is that it feels like your listening to 10 different versions of Water. Apart from that I think Tyla has great potential. This is just her debut.
